Thinking about getting rid of the resonator to bring out more of the PE. Any good exhaust shops in Melbourne that charge a fair price? Thanks in advance for your input.

Myself and my family used to highly rate them when they were owned by the same family for decades. Since 2005ish they have changed hands and are no longer operated by the same family/group. Instead two owners/partners have destroyed the name and workmanship that they were known for. Took a car in back in the day to try them to get a custom fabrication done for manifold and exhaust. Quote, behaviour/social skills and punctuality while the car was in their possession was one of the worst I've experienced.

They high balled me to expect me to say no to the job originally but I said no worries to put their skills to the test and left car with them. For 4 weeks they wasted my time, not once did they touch the car nor start the job. Ended up picking the vehicle up and gave them a mouthful for their appaling treatment with no feedback through follow up calls unless I approached them. Instead of honestly saying no we can not do it at the start they made numerous excuses and wasted my time. This place has gone from custom cars and vintage aussie muscles to semi trailer trucks left right and centre so I can imagine what sort of jobs the workers have got used to. Wouldnt even get work done there for free. I am not an assh0le but I was treated very poorly and no one else deserves that treatment. So yeh I'd avoid them at all costs.

Thanks for your suggestion! Just took my 540i to replace the stock exhaust with a sport muffler at the Exhaust World in Nth Melb, these guys are awesome, very competitive price, excellent quality workmanship..
