Best place for rotors
Who do you guys recommend for brakes and rotors. Used to like Pelican Parts years ago, but have had nothing but horrible experiences there recently and would go to dealer and pay markup before ordering from them again.

FCP. Lifetime replacement guarantee even on consumables like brake pads and rotors.

+1 for FCP. I'd get rotors from them, so you can use their lifetime guarantee. I had to buy pads elsewhere as they didn't carry the Hawk 5.0s I wanted.

BMW. Seriously.
The BEST braking I've ever gotten was dealer installed and warranties parts. Everything else was a compromise. |

Don't laugh, eBay. I chose the rotors (and pads) I wanted, and snagged them at a reasonable price. Went with braided hoses and new fluid from ECS at the same time.

I've been looking too. Rockauto seems to be the cheapest; I'm also intrigued by r1concepts. They seem to have great reviews and the price of their basic rotors is excellent--even better when paired with some of their pads.

High carbon (HC) rotors are quieter, more stable and have more strength. According to the Pagid box.
Zimmermann is HC. The latest Pagids I have (not installed yet) are HC. Pagid has cheap non-HC rotors too. I do not use non-coated cheap rotors, or non-HC rotors. ![]() |

You have the option of Slotted, Drilled or Drilled & Slotted and handful of pad options and even brake line upgrades. We can't post links in non classified sections otherwise I would. ![]() |
