I was hoping this was the case, good thing someone came in to clarify.

Either way, I'd not support them simply for his representation of the company..

Funny that my research brought me to this thread and it is almost entirely about bashing Vincent Carbone.

For the record, I was talking to Tommy Colon today (owner of BavGruppe) when I was trying to figure out who this Vincent guy was and, as I understand it, Tommy is the owner of BavGruppe and semi-recently has moved away from headlight builds to focus exclusively LED halo and headlight "accessory" production. Vincent now has his own business Mod_Emporium that does a lot of headlight builds and uses a lot of BavGruppe products, Tommy said they are separate entities. That is my understanding at least.

I made a post in a BMW FB group in which I was explaining the "angel eye deletes" I frequently do on my BMW builds, highlighting some of the design benefits of doing so. I posted some pictures I had photoshopped showing a few examples, at the end of the post I state that they are not my photos and if the owner of the photos would like for me to take them down I would be happy to do so.

A few minutes later I get a message from this Vincent guy and the dialogue is attached below, I was only able to get one response in before he presumably blocked me (he was online but "not receiving messages") so I couldn't get to the bottom of which photo he was upset about, if it was actually his photo, and in general do my best to amicably resolve the situation.

What a peach this guy is. I have a lot of respect for many of my fellow headlight enthusiasts and builders as we share a unique passion but have zero respect for Vincent.

Evan

Wow what an A$$ hat. It's a shame people associate Bav Gruppe with this whack job when all he does is use their product for his work.

Yea, Lightwerkz in Oakland. Caesar is a long time retrofitter. Depending on what your definition of "reasonable price" is his prices might seem a bit high but his work is excellent and worth every penny.

Tell him Evan sent you, not sure if it will get you a better price but connecting the dots always helps!

Glad I ran across this. There's enough hate in this world already and I won't support it in any way.

I own and operate Bavgruppe.

I think the experience people have had here are with Mod Emporium. When I moved to manufacturing a few years ago Vincent began using my products and was one of the first. He is based out of NY as I am and he purchases products for install. Happy Thanksgiving!

Just waiting for my bavgruppe lights to arrive. Just curious, does the adaptive headlight function still work with them installed?
