like i said before its pretty hard for the SSTT to throw a CEL at all. it alters TMAP signals and works under the ECU control. ????

What elevations are you driving in? What octane do you get there? I doubt it is a defective unit, more likely you are getting limps due to a combination of the above.

As I said elsewhere, your car may have a different ECU. I did some research trying to help you out and found that some euro automatics had a different ECU part number. It is theoretically possible that the SSTT is incompatible with your ECU. The only way to try to figure that out is to call Jeff... I remain skeptical about your claim though...the codes you told us about in another thread (dealing with the throttle position sensor) have nothing whatsoever to do with signals the SSTT modifies. If you actually care about resolving your issue you will call Jeff and get his help.

congrats man, give a few to adapt 100% and enjoy the power.
just talked with Split second and they said that even at high altitude there are gonna be no CEL from that just for everyone info. also fotiki, it seems its just the euro DME that might be causing this, esp with ur altitude and octane. call Split Second, they are very helpful and nice people to deal with.
