I have a hunch that the XI downpipes WILL fit a 335i. Why do I say this? Well, the stock BMW downpipes for the 335i and 335xi are the exact same part numbers. So, it seems that there was a clearance issue with the aftermarket 335i pipes on the 335xi vehicle, so UR had to make some minor adjustments...however, my guess is that these adjustments make the XI pipes fit on either car. Feel free to prove me wrong.

The XI downpipes won't fit an I car. That is why UR made specific XI pipes. Even though stock XI and I models may be the same, I think UR had to make specific XI pipes since the larger diameter of the DP hit an XI specific piece of equipment.
Now going the other way, I think XI pipes may fit an I car, but I think the XI pipes may be a little more restrictive than the I pipes due to the bend/smaller piping to fit the XI. |
