Difficulty reattaching the vent hose from the upper radiator hose.
When I was doing some work on my car I accidentally broke off the plastic nipple that connects the vent hose from the expansion tank to the upper radiator hose. It has a clamp that I don't know how to get off or loosen. Is there some trick I'm not aware of?
It's the clamp you see on the hose coming out of the upper radiator hose here. |

Definitely you can re-use it. Stick flat head screw driver into the crimp and spread it out. When installed onto nipple just squeeze it with cutting pliers. The broken off nipple however with will be probably hard to remove. I usually end up cutting the hose a little. Have done many of these. Get Rein if you don't want to pay for BMW part.
