Dension Gateway Pro BT for BMW E90 CIC
guys
i drive a bmw 323i E90 2010 with CIC. It doesnt have bluetooth a2dp. I found Dension Gateway Pro BT on the internet and looks like it will add that functionality in the car. Any idea about this? Thanks |

Combox media does indeed have the a2dp profile, however even so on some devices there can occasionally be lag.
For the aftermarket stiff, I don't really know much. We can supply a combox media and generate the fsc certificate for your vin number. If your in Sydney we can also install it or send in your cic and we can do it as well. |

Combox installed and your cic activated for combox $600 aud. In sydney installation is free. Allow about 20 mins, if you have the latest v60.1 software on your cic. It's possible to remote activate but we prefer to have you send your cic in. If your cic needs updating, then allow an extra $200 or so, we will update it to the latest version and add the 2018 Australian maps, we will also activate voice control as part of that.

Basically it's the same reason Bluetooth tv's like 10 years ago would allow you to connect Bluetooth headset but now unless the tv has the a2d profile, it won't let you even though it has Bluetooth for keyboard and etc. (Although they can be tricked people started complaining and they stopped it. That said, some devices still delay even when tv is a2dp. |
