New springs installed but dont look it

hey guys,

i just installed some new springs today on my e90, the car does not look lower than standard. the springs are only 1.2 front and rear.

the fronts look alot higher than the rears, will this be the height of my car? or will this become lower as time progresses?

ive never installed springs on my car before, ive only ever used coilovers in my previous cars.

any of u guys have any pics of your cars lowered approximately 1.2"?

im quite disappointed about the height its sitting at right now. was hoping the guards would level up with the rubbers at least or close up the gap, but the gap is still so obvious.

thanks

Give it a week or two. New springs need to settle in. This is the very reason you should hold off on doing an alignment (recommended after lowering) until after the minimum 2 weeks.

did you have The Sport Package or no?

If you have the sport pack, you should have went with H&R race springs or a coilover setup. Remember, the Sport Pack already has a lower suspension, so when choosing springs you must compinsate for that.

My race springs with be on this week. They will add another .5-.75 drop on a Sport Package vehical...

No.... Donnie, why didn't you tell me that earlier??? I had my setup installed on Saturday and just took my car into BMW this morning for an aligment. Please tell me, that should be okay. But then again, I was testing it out pretty roughly, so hopefully, it is settled already.

I had my alignment done same day as coilover install. I figured it was better to be close than off a whole bunch. I don't think it should be a problem as I have had no ill effects even after springs settled.
