Yeah I don't get why people on here are always going crazy over leaks. I have had 3 oil leaks for year and lose about 1qt per oil every 10k. About what I drive per year so I just change the oil instead of add. I know one of our banned members said his oil pan leaked for 100k and never was a problem. By the time I need to fix these oil leaks my BMW will be at 160k and I will prob just get rid of it.

Well I always suggest replacing an oil filter housing gasket because if that leaks oil will get to the belts which can destroy your engine and it's easy/cheap to replace

'Feel' is incredibly subjective.

You really think solenoids are maintenance and are worth replacing even though the trans shifts normally? That would make you the only person I've heard or seen say that. Not even shops, who stand to profit, say things like that
