MS-8 tuning help
Hi guys it's been awhile since I was on here. So I recently had my suspension replaced and when doing so the mechanic unplugged my stereo in the trunk and my MS-8 reset all settings. I was not the one to actually tune it to begin with and could really use some help.
I messed with it some myself and got everything sounding decent except for the sub. It doesn't have the bass that it should. I have a 2011 e90 lci base stereo JL c5 door speakers JL zr tweeters I believe the underseat woofers are earthquakes I bought them from technik a couple years ago JL c2 coaxial in rear deck JL 13.5w7 subwoofer JL HD1200/1 JL XD600/6 MS-8 |

doing a search with "JBL ms-8" here produces links like the above. Since this is an old and discontinued unit you will need to fire up the flux capacitor to find info unless one of the ancients is around to comment. Doing a internet wide search can't hurt either. wow ms-8 an oldie but a .... well an oldie. you are going down a rabbit hole if you start playing with that thing. it'll suck you in and you will never be quite happy with it. replace it with a Helix or Match and save the aggravation.

Thanks for the input guys but I already have the ms8 and buying something else isn't really an option at the moment...😏
I'll just have to start searching. |
