HELP! CIC failure?

Hey guys,

I recently had my nav screen go red as I was listening to music and then went black completely. Ever since then everything has been shutdown, no music/nav, no gongs, no pdc, sos inactivated.

I am stuck between replacing the Top HiFi amp vs. the headunit. I heard the amp is a common failure that would lead to the symptoms I am having.

Stealership said headunit needs to be replaced but discussing it with my SA in California he said given my symptoms it is likely the amp and not the headunit that has failed.

Any insight would be greatly appreciated!
Thanks in advance.
