Welcome lights
hi everyone. quick question. to get welcome lights is the only thing need a frm2 ou frm 3? as i had one coded a couple of days back, selected all the options for it. but nothing happens. am i missing something? my car is a 2006 model, had an frm 1 originaly.

Bimmergeeks said they could enable welcome lights even on older models.
I know the FRM2 and FRM3 have that feature available. You can also code exactly which lights are enabled. |

the reason i ask is because i had and frm 2 coded last night. now the welcome light option comes up, but nothing happens. no lights come on when opening or closing the car. they guy said i might need to have light sensor and auto lights, is this true?

The switch needs to be in auto mode to enable welcome lights. The battery also needs to be topped up. I believe all American market cars have auto lights, so I can't confirm whether that is necessary.
