Xenon headlights
Are BMWs Xenon headlights that bright blueish color? or is it that dull yellow color that you see on every car with Halogen bulbs? I remember my parents had this SL500 that had Xenon headlights 10 years ago, and the headlights were bright and more blue than everyday yellow.
Most newer BMWs i've seen have that yellowish tint, are there any aftermarket bulbs that can replicate the blueish kind? |

Color temperature for regular halogen is around 3000K. OEM HID bulbs are around 4100-4200K. If you want the bluish-white color, you may want to look at Phillips Ultinon bulbs @ 6000K.

Dont put anything over 5000K or you will look funny...every 200 hours xenon gets bluer and after 1 year you will have nice expensive looking xenon...this 8000K stories, please forget...

I dont really understand your thread. why would any xenon lights have a dull yellow color like halogens. All xenon lights are bright white with a blueish hue.maybe the fog lights on bmw but never the xenons.
