VRSF charge pipe

Who here has the vrsf charge pipe with stock intercooler? For some reason no matter how good I tighten the supplied clamp for the silicone coupler and charge pipe it always manage to work itself loose causing me to under boost. Could it be that the couple is too short or could it be something else? I do plan on getting a VRSF inter cooler in the near future and hope that that will solve my problem, but what is it that I could do now to prevent this from happening?

I have the charge pipe and have not had a problem with it coming unseated. I made sure to lube the coupler a little bit and it is seated as far as possible on to the intercooler connection and the charge pipe itself. Perhaps you're putting the clamps a little too far from the spot where the coupler seats on the intercooler connection as well? I believe mine are almost near the end of the coupler

I have a VRSF charge pipe and used to have stock intercooler and I never had any issue with 16 psi, just make sure it's clamped nice and tight. Not sure if it matters with the VRSF but I think the 07 and 08 need additional elbow on some charge pipes so maybe look into that.

Get rid of the T clamps and go get some standard worm clamps, they are thinner and hold better. I have this problem as well. I feel like part of the issue is my worn out motor mounts allow more engine movement and stress this connection, but I've gone from having it pop off once a week to once a year by changing clamps. 18psi
