Exhaust Leak? Smell in cabin and ticking.
I have an E90 335i N54 and on start up warm or cold there is a ticking noise like an exhaust leak. Then after warming up entirely it goes away. However, when I press the gas it seems to come back. Also after pulls I get an exhaust fume smell in my cabin. I just replaced the gaskets after the downpipes to the rest of the exhaust and nothing changed. Has anyone had this happen? I really hope it's not the manifold as I just had the turbos replaced...

Hard to say from here. Perhaps the new gasket is torn or pinched in a weird way. Only way to really diagnose an exhaust leak is in person unfortunately.
