2c32 code
Whats up guys I drive a 2012 e92 335is with right at 49k on the motor, joined the forum a few months ago, but never really post much. I recently got a SES light for a misfire in cylinder 5 and a bank 2 o2 sensor trimming code. after clearing the code, the misfire code never came back but the 2c32 code would always come back every once in a while even after clearing the code with my cobb v3.
Recently did some maintenance on my car in February, where i did an oil service, changed the plugs, and did a walnut blasting since I figured carbon build up on the valves was causing the misfire and the 2c32 codes. After all this was done, the car ran nice and strong for about a month, when bam... All of a sudden out of no where the SES light comes back, I get home, pull the codes on me Cobb V3, and the 2c32 code was back again. I after reading different post about this issue from different people,I realized that some people where changing out plugs, coils,o2 sensors ect. with the same code popping up maybe a month or 2 later. Digging into the various post in here and on other sites, i saw a few post where some people changed out there injectors for the corresponding bank and it cured the problem. I recently purchased a schwaben scan tool off of ecs tuning to be able to check various things on my car. Today I decided to hook my scan tool up to check my STFT and LTFT to see if it could in fact be a possibility that my bank2 injectors may actually need to be changed, and here's what I came across.. ![]() ![]() ![]() Looking at my bank2 fuel trims, there is alot of compensation between STFT and LTFT also with my bank 2 o2 short and long.. The o2 voltage doesn't show a dead or low reading between the two as to say the sensor is bad or gone. It looks like I maybe ordering a set of injectors after all. Hopefully this resolves my issue. I may just get some coils and change them out while I'm already in there.. A second opinion from the experts would gladly be appreciated.. Thanks.. |

I know this is an old thread but did this resolve the issue for you? I’m having the same problem. I changed my bank 2 injectors last night and it triggered the code again but I forgot to reset the adaptations. I’m hoping that does the trick. |
