Any reports of hydrolock due to dual cone intakes?

I was looking at dual cones intakes and was pretty happily surprised to see for example the BMS one at about 100$.

Then I did more research and saw the AFE Power and Injen which are about 450$ but seem to sit higher and look pretty darn nice to as a bonus.

My main concern here is driving through a puddle and the risk of sucking up water with the BMS.

So I was wondering has any issues like that been known or reported on the forum?

Non issue. They aren't in the wheelwell or low in the bumper cover like on many other platforms.

Like a 5 foot puddle? Lmao. Sorry I found this post so comical, but unless you’re driving your car into a lake you’ll be fine.

Your headlights will short circuit along with other stuff long before those cones suck in any water. Don't ask how I know.

One thing I have worried about is the Drivers side wheel making water fling into the DCI's through those 3 holes in the drivers side wheel well, but after a year of having DCI's ive never had an issue
