Never Back Down was Amazing

Never Back Down was great. One of the best movies I've seen in a while. The plot was great, the cast was full of good actors and the movie just kept me entertained the whole time. Contrary to what the reviews said, this movie gets two thumbs up from me.

The story is of a teen who's life was changed due to his drunken father's fatal car crash. He moves to Daytona with his Mother and Brother and gets dragged into some underground fight club. His past and the people around him influence the decisions he makes and in the end gains respect and loyalty from the community.

I'm into the whole mixed martial arts hype, so I'm sure that contributed the my liking of this movie. There are some important lessons to be learnt from the movie too. I've always been taught to walk away from a fight and to settle disputes in a non-violent way. Yet sometimes there's just no other choice. The movie demonstrates this exactly.

it was good, but not great. Ironically it had the exact same plot as the karate kid, same ending too, just a modernized version of it.

not surprised.

it's hard finding a good movie with a unique plot nowadays. everything is being ripped off something else. its so bad they're remaking old chinese movies into american movies

i thought it looked pretty lame, but to each there own i guess...all this ultimate fighting is like the new trend now, just like fast and the furious was a few years ago, this new "fad" will pass just like all the others...so yea i wont be seeing this movie, but thanks for the review

not good at all!!! its so fake. it takes years to become good at MMA let alone a few weeks or months. But the music and girls were hot so see it!

Sounds good.

At first I was against it because I felt it would make every one and their grandmother think they were an MMA fighter but now I don't care. Now I realize it'll simple bring much needed fame and support to the sport in general.
