i got the GPLUS kit, keep in mind the adapter that comes with it is garbage and will not work, i had to buy a new one to make it work. Other than that everything is working good, was floating around 240/250 before and now stays around 220/230ish. Temps return back to 220/230 pretty quickly after a few back to back pulls too

Did you also have to buy an oil filter housing off of an n54 with an oil cooler? I ask because I see where they sell just the oil cooler thermostat housing with the outlets for cheaper. but it doesn’t look like it will bolt up to an older housing...

Edit: is this the kit you ordered? https://rover.ebay.com/rover/0/0/0?m...2F132506651473

Is the adapter the black block with the threaded fittings?

you would need the oil filter housing and the Thermostat. our cars dont have the thermostat option .

We retrofitted ours back a few years ago. You can source an oil filter housing from ebay, Amazon, etc,..I would just suggest to replace the two rubber gaskets in it when you do.

Do you recall the hose fittings on the oem housing? Most of the aftermarket stuff looks like AN10 but I’m thinking it looks like the housing is AN8...

thats exactly the same kit i bought. Cooler, hoses were fine. You will need to source a new oil filer housing with the oil cooler, and also the adapter that changes your OEM filter output to AN fitting.

something like this from one of our sponsers
