HP iPAQ hw6510 Mobile Messenger

I am experimenting with the Mobile Messenger hw6510 SmartPhone from HP. I cannot seem to get it to work with my September 2005 E90 330i. Has anyone managed to do effect this connection?

I should have said that my E90 has IDrive, Sat Nav and Bluetooth preparation.
