Question Q On Invoice, MSRP, Etc

i remember there was a great buyer's guide explaining all the definitions of msrp, residuals, invoice, etc but i can't find anymore. anyone have the link?

my main question though is this. invoice is the price the dealer buys the car and msrp is the price that the dealers must sell at to make profit? so the goal is to get under msrp? im confused

if someone has the guide im talking of, please post. thanks.

A great deal on these is to try and get one for $500 over invoice,or as close to invoice as possible. If the dealer sells it for that then they still make a little bit, plus the doc fee if they charge one.Depending on where you live and what dealer you have will make the difference on what you pay for the most part.Biying one in the midwest seems to be the way to go as others have posted.
