I replaced my axel on my car and the replacement axel came from a doner car with 40k miles on it and I was able to install everything perfectly but i reached a point where im completly stuck. The axel just wont go through the hub, i have tried grease, oil and lots of strengh and nothing. I'm guessing the rust is making it hard to slip through on its own and i tried brushing it off with a toothbrush but that didnt work either.

I went to autozone, Orielly and avanced autoparts and none of them had a tool to pull the axel in.

So ended up ordering a tool kit from ebay since it was the only place i could find it in stock ;however, it wont be here till next week and the ebayer wouldnt let me pay for overnight. I really need my car up and running again soon and im willing to pay someone to come and pull the axel through. It should only take 1-2mins with the correct tools.

I created a thread about the issue, but no one seemed to be able to help with advice so at this point id rather pay someone who has can do this one simple thing with the correct tools.

Edit: Once the tool came it worked and i was able to reinstall it just fine.

Can I borrow/buy the tool from you?

I have a bad rear bearing and have new bearings, hubs, rotors but not the puller tool.

I figure I'd keep the tool, but if you want you can buy it for what I paid and I'll just buy another one since it's a good tool to have. This is probably much easier than borrowing it since your not that close to me and the tool is pretty cheap.

If your installing a new hub you may not actually need the tool as it may just slide back in. If you only have one car then I'd say come buy the tool from me (or if you just want it) but if you have two cars try the install first then if it doesn't work you can pm me to let me know that you need it and I'll be happy to help. I know what it's like to be stuck without the ability to reinstall it lol.
