i have got allmost 4 years and over 40 000 km of harsh winters and hot summers on my LUX lights, not a single issue. had some fog inside my headlight and it burned my headlight ballast had to change the lenses and reseal the units ( blackhousing opportunity.) this is when i realized how powerful were them angel eyes. Very satisfied with the product.

Mine flickered out of the box, despite there site saying they wouldn't. I was more disappointed that the outer halos were now dimmer than stock, no matter the distance I looked at them. Definitely not what I expected for $200.

Mine flicker as they turn on, but that is normal as the car normally uses PWM pulses to control the lights and it attempts to ramp power up slowly. This is something that LEDs cannot deal with.
Once the lights are on fully they stop flickering. The bulbs have a different shape than what the rings were designed for which can result in uneven light between the inner and outer rings. |

Wondering if the OP meant "flickering" during regular driving or just parking/startup. |

My understanding was that the LUX pulses / flickers when turning off. Not sure about turning on during startup. It should just fade on. The LUX rep could chime in here.

You edited your initial post which could have been useful to others. Just because you seem to have worked it out doesn't mean that it wouldn't help others. Judging from the Lux response, it looks like you jumped the gun in criticizing their product before they could respond.
