Can I disable only the alarm/ gong warning sounds?

Backstory: my convertible top is closed and locked securely but there is a sensor telling the car it is not. Anytime I drive over 20mph the gong alarm warning sound goes on and on (like an unbuckled seat belt). It's driving me nuts and as I turn up my speakers, the sound gets louder with it! I'm almost about to pull the fuse and disable ALL sound in the car so I can drive in peace for once.

Better take this question to the coding subforum or general forum.
Why not just fix he problem.

agreed. if nothing else you can try to code out the check thats setting off the alarm.
