question about the front orange reflectors
Hey guys/gals,
I've read the Washington state traffic law in regards to the orange reflectors on our front bumpers and it only states we need the rear red ones. Is there another DOT rule that I'm missing that says we legally need them? Has anyone every run into any issues with replacing the orange reflectors with a painted one? Any police given you a hard time, tickets given? Thanks for your time! |

I tinted/blacked mine out. Much cleaner look. Never had a problem here in Florida. I can’t see that being a reason for the Police to hassle you. They usually looking for more obvious violations.
I say do it....good luck |

Police no. Insurance and lawyers if it comes down to it will. For obvious reasons.

When I bought my BMW performance bumper it came with them installed and I just had them paint over them when they painted the bumper. I highly doubt anyone will notice. Hell not even at BMW meets has anyone mentioned noticing mine were painted.
