DVD while driving unlock

Anyone have any experience with DVD-in-motion or been able to somehow bypass the DVD only in park limitation?

It's normally just a wire that grounds when the handbrake is on. Just join to an existing ground or directly to the chassis. Job done.

So I have a 2009 335I E92 with cic idrive & TCU module.

I had recently had the hole car firmware updated as the car has never had it done, So I lost things I already coded & wanting them coded back to the car, After owning the car for 6 months & only about a week ago finding out the idrive could actually play dvd's I thought I would like that on long journeys for the kids.

Got my laptop out today & thought ill have a play for dvd in motion. It took around 6 hours for success with trying & failing, Trying & failing. LOL

Fairly simple when you know what to do.

If enough interest I will put together something on how to do.
