So I currently drive an 07 BMW 335I montego blue and everything is stock... still has stock rims, anyway I am about to buy some new rims but the RIM size is 18x9.. will this fit with the tires I currently have on my car or will I have to buy new tires as well if I get the wheels....
MY STOCK wheel size are FRONT: 225/40R18 REAR: 255/35R18 the wheels I want measure... 18x9ET35 72.6CB 5x120 WILL IT FIT WITHOUT GETTING NEW TIRES |

Hey Larry,
Assuming you have the 335i with the sports package based on your tire sizes, I can tell you that it's possible but i wouldn't advise it. Your front wheel is 8 inches wide, and the rear is 8.5 inches. The rear tire would be fine with a slight stretch, but for the front mounting a 225 wide tire on a 9 inch wheel is just pushing it. It would be stretched, reduced traction and increased tire wear, and just unsafe in my opinion. I would keep the rear if you have to and just save up for at least 235/245 tire for the front. |

They will fit but won't look great. Because both wheels are the same 9" width, the 255 tire would look much more full around the wheel whereas the 225 tire would look stretched.
If you're trying to keep costs to a minimum and don't want to buy new tires, yeah they'll fit without any issues.

If you have the OEM Bridgestone run flat tires from the sport package, Bridgestone themselves rates these tires as compatible with 7.5" - 9" wide wheels. You'll be fine.

That is very stretched lol, your opinion might be a little skewed.

Lol . To each is own. Just my perception from seeing others who ran 215 on that same width lol. But the 9 doesn't seem that bad at all.
