Bmw e92 dtm angel eyes flicker constantly

Hi guys so I bought some flat bottom angel eyes I'm planning to install soon, but as a test i plugged them in to see what they'd look like,
When I connect them straight to the battery they are very bright and look good, however once plugged into the headlight h8 connector they are dim and flicker constantly ? Any ideas?

They should have come with some sport of power supply adapter, if not that's likely the problem.

Many of the vehicle lights are powered via pulse width modulation PWM which is why your lights are flickering.

You can use an in line capacitor to smooth out the voltage ripples.

Thanks for your replies guys, yeah It did come with a kit but no instructions so I bought some adapters and joined them to the h8 plugs, but worked out how to fit the wiring it came with so it works perfectly now
