'08 335Ci M-Sport

Hi All (Happy New Year)... I just fulfilled my New Years' resolution - to buy myself a '08 e92 335 M-Sport... Just ordered it today (expected delivery: end of April).

Specs:

Alpine White
6MT
19" 225M wheels
Individual High End Audio
Plus all other options except Active Cruise, Climate Comfort screen, Rear Blind and Ski bag.

It's sad to see my old car go ('05 325Ci M-Sport) but I guess it's a case of natural evolution.

I look forward to adding my personal touch to my new 335. Now all I've gotta do is get through the next 16 wks.

Naturally, I'll post picks when I get it.

Hi Chris, I purchase it from Worthington BMW (Gosford)... I am very happy with their service.

Congrats and good choice with the manual transmission. Was your 325ci manual as well? How was it? Was it an easy decision for you to go with the manual?

Sounds like a brilliant spec Oz!MSport.

Is the Individual High End Audio the same as the Logic 7?

Cheers,

What colour interior? I'm interested in the almost the exact same spec and am thinking of the coral red interior.

I think Coral, Saddle and black leather interiors are the best suited for AW e92's

Yep my 325 was a manual - brilliant gear box, so slick and positive feeling. It was an easy decision to go manual - all my previous cars have been manual... I find automatics to not be 'involving' enough.

The Individual High End Audio is the next system up from the Logic 7. I wanted something with good bass that wont get drowned out when on the road. I figured the top of the line system would give me that.

I'm going with a Black interior - with the standard Glacier Aluminium trim. I nearly chose the Saddle Brown but went with a tried and proven combination instead.

I actually wanted to get Space Grey paint but found out that I can't order a M-Sport in that colour - and I find the Sparkling Graphite just a tad too dark. My second preference was white... so the rest is history.

I'm really looking forward to the performance increase over my 325... can't believe just how much torque the 335 motor has...

You might be thinking of my alter ego (OZ!M3) ... yes it is true, I did have a deposit on the new M3 but I cancelled that order after my local dealer offered a poor trade in deal. The long story short is:

Originally the dealer verbally offered me a 'mid 60's' trade in figure on the M3 - then (a couple of months later) when it came to the crunch they offered me $48K... It basically boiled down to: they are not interested in talking deals on a vehicle in such high demand... I figure the 335 is a better daily driver anyway... so I'm not at all dissapointed.

Cheers

I'm going with a full Black interior - i.e. black leather with high gloss black trim (I'm not a fan of the silver Aluminium trim). I nearly chose the Saddle Brown but went with a tried and proven combination instead.

I actually wanted to get Space Grey paint but found out that I can't order a M-Sport in that colour - and I find the Sparkling Graphite just a tad too dark. My second preference was white... so the rest is history.

I didn't know there was another audio choice above Logic 7

My car is space grey, but found out so is my neighbours ! Whoops

Totally! My last car was Silver Grey (or Space Grey by today's terminology) - I loved that colour, but Alpine White will be a nice change. I particulary like the M Sport rear diffuser contrast against the white.

BTW - your M3 =
