I have a 2010 e92 Msport. I have gloss black kidneys and the grates on the front bumper, in front of the intercooler and surrounding the fog lights, look so dull in comparison.

What have people done to get a better match to gloss kidneys? Paint? Dip? Glossy detailing products?

Looking for ideas.

But I have used a plastic cleaner/shine that I got from the dealer, can't remember its name, but it made some dull plastic on the side mirrors nice and black again.

I don't think you could get the grills that glossy just from polish. But maybe an extra reflective clear coat could help (and protect).

But it bugs you that much, you could always strip and sand, then repaint. It's been done thousands of times before. Plastic might be the most interesting and possibly durable (if not a sacrificial/replaceable layer).

That's for E90, but you can find for E92 as well.
