Engine running at reduced output ?
What's up guys really hoping someone can help me out here. This morning on my daily commute I received an engine light with the message "Engine running at reduced output possible to continue drive with caution" I did nothing out of the normal car feels fine. I didn't really get on it but it didn't even feel like it was running at reduced power. Ran the codes and got 2C58. Tried to clear the codes but the engine light remained on. Any ideas what it could be ? Really hoping it's not something serious. My car is a 2013 e92 335xi n55. Running jb4 with FMIC Downpipe and chargepipe.

I got that too when i used to have JB4. for me it threw the code when the car starting building boost. half check engine light and didnt build boost. never figured out what the exact problem was but when i removed the jb4 everything was back to normal.
