First Edition M5 Frozen dark red

I will be getting a First Edition M5 Frozen dark red and it will be my first frozen paint ever. Would appreciate any product recommendation along with any tips on taking care of the new car. Thanks in advance!

I'm going to try a small amount of very mild soap with no silicones and and a microfiber mitt. Going to spray it off well and be very gentle. You just do want to use anything that has the slightest abrasives.

Congratulations!!! Very nice color choice too, can't wait to see it!

I would recommend to get Clear Bra, or Ceramic Coat first. Or both .

Wash the car every 1-2 weeks and it should look brand new forever.

I ended up getting full body xpel stealth (with xpel ultimate for headlights and carbon fiber roof) with 2 coats of ceramic pro on top, plus wheels on my first edition. It was expensive, but at least I have some peace of mind, which is priceless.

Looks like since it's a matte finish paint. Llumar offers a matte clear, I forgot what it's called but I think that's what I'm going to end up doing! They will also ceramic coat the protection film and the wheels as part of it.

Any pics of your First Editions with the matte ppf? I was going to have mine done bur the matte ppf looks like scotch tape so I told my installer to hold off (the gloss next to it is regular clear ppf)

Not sure what kind of matte ppf you are using?

This is what full body XPEL stealth looks like on that car (with 2 coats of ceramic pro on top of the ppf):

Thanks for the pics. Since I was going to get only my hood and front bumper done, I was hoping to see some pics to determine whether there was a difference between the wrapped panels and non-wrapped panels once the ppf wrap was done. I obviously don't want my hood and bumper looking different from the rest of the car.

my advice is to also do the front fenders like I did!
