I did Power Seat Retrofit

I didn't actually do it but had someone to do it.

My car had regular manual seats and I picked up sport power seats for $280.

I did not buy any seat connectors. He first powered passenger seats by running regular wires to the fuse box. It was pretty simple process. Everything worked fine.

He did the same thing to the driver seat but only lumbar and bolster was working. There was power going to the Seat module but no power going to the motor that moves seat back/forth, up/down from seat module. We figured something has to do with the seat module. So he ran another power to between seat module and the motor.
But it wasn't still working.

I disconnected the battery for a bit to reset it and it started working.

But back/forth, up/down shuts down after about 30 seconds. Lumbar/Bolster keeps working just fine.

It doesn't bother me too much since I can adjust the seat every time I get into the car (when I turn the car off, it cuts the power to the seats so it resets it)
But if I want to adjust the seat while driving, I will have to turn the car off, wait few minutes to reset and then I can adjust.

I am going to see the coding guy anyways for other things so I will see if coding will fix this problem.

If you know any solution, please let me know.

After all, I paid the guy $100, it is well worth it
(those Bolster adjustment is freakin cool. It holds my body like baby seats)

2007.

If you know how to power it physically from the fuse box, it wouldnt be hard.

my car is partly electric, lumbar lift and slope only, will it be that if just plugging in my original plug will work? Are your seats working memory function?

I didn't bother to check memory function. I don't need it.

If you hook it up, at least lumbar and bolster will work fine. I think those are separate from seat memory control unit. You can see driver seat has the module but passenger seat won't.

even if your plug won't work, it will be easier to power just lumbar and bolster.

Did you original seats have the heated-seats option? I was thinking about swapping my manual heated seats for powered sport seats at some point... (2007)
