Needing Turbos Replaced in the Future

Good evening all,

I just bought a 2008 335xi Coupe with 73k on factory snails. This Winter/Spring, I'll be replacing the turbos and adding downpipes. A couple quick questions:
- Any reputable shops with a bunch of experience? It's my 2nd car so I can drop it off for weeks.
- What other items should I replace while in there? Water Pump, oil lines, etc?
- Keeping the twins, any preference/suggestions of replacement?

Thank you in advance!

I know this isn’t exactly what you’re asking, but why replace the turbos at 73k miles? There are a lot of members here running stage 2+ tunes on stock turbos pushing 18+ psi of boost. If you’re not burning oil and you’re hitting the boost target why not just run the stock turbos till the break?

Unless you're going to upgrade the turbos I would not recommend swapping them. Yes you may get to a point where it seems like the turbos are going out but trust me the stocks can handle more mileage.

Replace turbos when you need it or when you want more power than the stockers can support. When that time comes shoot me an PM/email and I'll be happy to help you out!
