PPF Maintenance / Car Wash

My 19' M5 Comp is having Xpel PPF installed today. I've never done this on any of my previous M5's but decided to give it a try in an effort to keep the paint as pristine as possible.

My question to those who have experience is how does one wash the car after it has the film? Just soap and water? Something else? Does the car need to be waxed over the film or just the areas that don't have film?

As you can tell I'm clueless when it comes to paint maintenance etc.

Thanks in advance

In all seriousness, your detailer should have given you some options.

That being what it is, if it's not ceramic coated your options are larger.

I use (basically) all Car Pro products. Look through their site, read the descriptions and choose what you feel is best for you.

Here's is what I use. Just because it's not ceramic coated doesn't mean you cannot use these. Through years of trial and error this is what I feel works the best.

Diluting Reload with distilled water (1:5) in a spray bottle also makes a great quick detailer on a ceramic coated car.
