Not disrespecting the chops, they are great, but the actual design looks crap there!
I've got hope that it wont look that bad. I remember HATING the C-class in spypics, but now I like it. I'm not a fan of the regular trim because it'd bland and dated, but the AMG trim looks great and eye-catching. The rear end lets it down a little but overall it's very good. I've got hope for the new E-class. Please dont let me down Merc...

It seems like Mercedes is taking their front-end design of their cars into a more angular design language theme. This is also evident with the update of the SL63 vs. the older SLs that had a more curvy bumper.

I have to give props to the guy who made the chops, they're really well done, but the design is utter trash and unfortunately from what I can see it mirrors the camo'd mules pretty well. The taillights are ugly, and that made me think of something.
Obviously this is simply an individual's rendering; a simple interpretation. Still, I realized that Mercedes has never done a good job with taillight design now that I think of it. They've always been very bland and very, very red with very little detail. I mean, the red they use is like a lollipop. They've started to fix that now, but the designs remain generic at best. Audi and BMW make interesting taillights. MB could use a pointer from them.

The E class has had quad headlights for a while now, it's strange seeing them together...

I Beg for the E-class to not actually look like this. It's all Lexus Lexus Lexus. I am the owner of a W211 and i wouldn't want it sucessor to look like that. I hope that they could have have an SL/CLS rear and a modified W211 front to be the final product
