Springs/Shock...just answer this please
Ok, first of all...i have no intention of doing this! I am buying coilovers! So dont flame me!. I am only posting this for a friend of mine who drives a BMW and was curios of what would happen if....dun dun dunn!
Ok, imagine you get H&R race springs on the car, then once the shocks blow...put stock springs on. Take it to BMW and have them replace it under warranty. What would happen in this scenario? -Sam |

Do you have an extended warranty, cuz your friend's shocks aren't gonna wear out by 50k.

Maybe dealerships nickle and dime us so much because customers are always trying to get over.

The warranty will depend on either the technician or service advisor.
If they can't identify any trace of modification, and believe the shocks experienced normal wear, they will take care of it. If they determine a change has taken place, they probably will not cover the damage under warranty. Keep in mind that these guys are not stupid, and they have a good idea how long a shock should last. |
