Weird popping noise and misfire.

So a couple days ago my car started misfiring on cyl 6, I turned it off and and waited about 5 minutes, after starting it again, the misfire was gone but a weird tapping noise was still present when accelerating lightly. I swapped the coil and the plugs (even though I replaced them less than 5k miles ago) and nothing changed, still heard the noise, and I presume it misfires if I accelerate, I just didn't drive the car because judging by the spark plug it looks like a fueling issue. The noise sounds like air getting inside the cylinder. I will attach a photo of the spark plug and upload a video of the sound. Idles smoothly. Anyone have any ideas?

Codes:
29D2 - Combustion Misfires, cylinder 6
29E1 - Mixture Control 2
(from MHD)

How many k are you?
Walnut blast if not done already.
Vanos clean and swap.
Injectors dirty.... Maybe..... go to chevron and fill a tank of their best.
This will clean any issues, if there is a dirty injector issue.

Full fuel adaptation reset via INPA.

Only 62k miles, the issue is only with cyl 6! No loss of power before the misfire and no codes. Wondering if cyl leaned out and lost compression, will do a test tomorrow.

N54 with only 62k miles.
My bet, intake ports are caked.
Why.

Cause I get the feeling your n54 hardly sees a long drive.
Short driving may not be the best for or cars.

When there is a poping sound that may be because one or more fuel injectors are not seal correctly. You can try to see if any gasses escape from where the injectors are seated. When you rev the popping sound will emerge and maybe some gasses from the injectors. The injector will possibly have fuel/condensation around it.

That was the issue, you were right, however it wasnt gases coming out it was an injector wobbling around inside the head due missing ring, sorry from the laye reply but I had TNT Racewerks diagnose and fox the issue!
