Anybody have experience with curb ramps?

I have a pretty steep driveway and a lowered f80, and scrape the front bumper every time I come in, due to the curb being raised. Is anyone experienced with any of the myriad of solutions out there and have reccomendations? I'm trying to do this before I cave and get KW coilovers with the lift system, cause I hate coils

tried reversing, but with the angle of the driveway I end up scraping the front bumper way harder. it scrapes so light coming in, if I had an extra mm I would clear it

that's why I was asking if anyone had good experiences with any of them, cause there is an overwhelming amount

What is your F80 lowered on if you don't have coilovers? Spring?

KWs dont retain, and KW is the only company that has the hydraulic lift option, which would be my whole reason for getting it. The F80s I've ridden in with coils ride like absolute horseshit, to the point I dont know I could handle dailying with them. I think an air suspension would suit my needs, but they're retarded expensive and fuck handling

manual dampers are worthless. that means when I turn into a road and realize its bumpy as shit I have to get out of the car to adjust them

There are other kits out there with the hydraulic lift. Broadway static for example. IDK what cars you have ridden in with coilovers but a good set will ride better than any set of springs. I for one am on Airlift air suspension and I love it. The car handles well and I can go full monster truck mode to clear just about any road obstacle.

how much did you pay to get your airlift kit installed? I want one, its just a money thing

and im not sure if I can justify to my woman spending like 3500 or so dollars on an air suspension just to get into the driveway, when I could have just plopped something on the curb

I installed mine myself but I would imagine around $1k in labor for install. It's a nice chunk of change but its been 100% worth it for me. I was house hunting last year and decided to pass on a house because my car(on coils at the time) couldn't make it into the drive way. So I understand your frustration lol

I'm in a F31 (Wagon), and my car appears lower than your F80. I have a decent curb at the beginning of my driveway. If approaching directly, I scrape the front every time. I was about to order a curb ramp, or have a professional concrete/paver do some custom work. However, I modified my entry and exit, and have minimal-to-no scrape. It may not work for your vehicle, but there are some Youtube videos with demonstrations. Basically, I approach parallel to the road, about 3 feet from the driveway. I then turn the wheel to match the driveway and very slowly let it crawl up. Same thing in reverse when exiting.

Now, I do have KW with EDC controls. I typically stiffen them to the Sport setting before approaching or exiting the driveway. KW makes coilovers for your F80 that are EDC controlled. In fact, they are literally plug-in-play. This is what I have on my F31. They are called DDC Plug-and-Play. This should be the part for your F80, but please verify:

I use Bridjit (https://www.bridjit.com/). It has worked pretty well, although sometimes it slips down a bit. Even with it sliding, it still prevents my Corvette from scraping my driveway.
