Active autowerk proceed chip for my 335i

my friend wants to sell me his active autowerk chip, and i was wondering would this tamper with my warrenty at all if i get it installed. If anyone kws plz let me kw.

But here. . . INSTALLING AFTER MARKET PARTS WILL ONLY VOID THE PART OF YOUR WARRANTY THAT IT'S RELATED TO. So your not going to have your brakes voided since you have an exhaust. Damn, come on people. . . this question is answered by such simple common sense, yet it gets asked over and over again. So unless your "chip" causes some sort of problem that is DIRECTLY RELATED TO IT. . . your fine.

oh, back to the thread. first of all, its not aa PROCEED, its xede. second, yes it will void your warranty IF the BMW dealership discovers that you have this installed in your ecu box.
