Owners of SMF with MHD idle control

I have the 550i/335is clutch ready to go in my E92 335i but on the fence about getting the single mass flywheel. My DD is a new F150, and only drive the 335i 5k miles a year, but I still dont want or care much for the loud chatter with a SMF which some have.

Now with MHD and idle rpm control, for those that went this route did uping the rpm with mhd help that much? Also, the clutch kit I have is unsprung afaik.

This might help as well.

900 RPM works for most.

I have SMFW and 550i clutch with MHD idle set to around 1000 rpm, no rattle at idle. But you always will have some occasional noises, for instance when applying medium/hard throttle in low rpm and a high gear (4-5th) during first seconds of accelleration. But just put one gear lower and you don't hear it anymore.

maybe I am more tolerant to noises than others, but I've ran idles at 850rpm and 750rpm. the chatter doesn't bother me at all and I've left it at 750rpm
