Hey guys, I have a 2010 BMW 328i and mine comes with a TCU 1.5 in the trunk. I do not have Bluetooth media to play music etc. but it does have Bluetooth calling. I also have navigation and it's a CIC already. I want to switch to a combox so I can have Bluetooth for music and stuff. I bought a combox telematic bn2000 and I don't know how to make it work. Not sure if all I need is a new harness to plug n' play or what wires/plugs I need. Thanks, anything will help !

I already have. I wouldn't have posted this if I didn't understand or know what to do. I don't want to make my own harness and there's not a true guide to how to get my combox to work without making my own harness and stuff. I don't even know where to get a FSC code or how to check if my software is running C1A Firmware or don't know if what I need to be running to make it work. Can't update my software from BMW cuz my VIN doesn't work on there, says it's not compatible etc so I'm very lost on how to make this work. All I want really is Bluetooth so I can listen to my music lol. All the extra stuff like apps, online, weather, etc is cool but really bought a combox cuz I want Bluetooth for music and I don't know how to make it work.

I guess you need to woodshed it at every BMW coding forum and
idrive subforum coding subforum here. , or open up your pocketbook.
Open internet searches will return more than you will get just here.

I don't think you need FSC codes to get bluetooth audio going.
Versions of the Head Unit software can be an issue but yours
should be OK since it's in the range they started installing comboxes or
close to it.

The threads above clearly outline what pins and plugs you need to assemble to make it work, along with the necessary coding.

Or pay for the PnP harness from Bimmer Retrofit, etc.

Not sure what else you expect anyone else to show or tell you here...

Bimmer retrofit is out of stock and just seeing if anyone could point me in the right direction. Like I said I'd rather not make my own harness and I don't think I'm gonna be needing an FSC code or the latest firmware. I don't need the bmw apps, online , etc I just want BT audio. Also I need to find someone to code it for me cuz I don't know how to nor do I have a windows

Did it this weekend after ccc to cic retrofit and took out tcu to combox, huge difference you just need the plug for the combox and follow the pin then code. Works good other than a bug I’m having with my pairing keeps deleting my phones after a few hours.

Make sure u check bluetooth settings in the phone when u connect to the BMW. It will have some toggle switches for audio and phone usage, make sure they are on.
