Is Renegotiation possible?
If I pay cash, can I renegotiate the price since I don't need any financing? Will/can the dealership sell the car for less?

It seems a bit off to renegotiate after the fact,
I'm sure you'd be really pissed if they tried to raise your price at delivery time, that's exactly how they'll feel if you try and change your deal after it's already been made. If anything you not financing the car will cut further into their profits (no kickback from selling the loan) Sticking to the agreement you've already made is the honest thing to do |

No because "paying cash will save you $$ on a car" is the biggest myth around. The dealership would rather you finance as they'll make $$$ on the financing too.

If it was me, you could just ask, "if I paid cash instead of financing, can I get a discount?". I probably wouldln't push the issue. You agreed on a price already.

if you finance through the dealer I'm sure there's gotta be a kickback to have them use your bank. They're selling your loan to a bank |
