E90 rear subframe bushings removal tool.

Hello guys

I removed the rear subframe bushings on my e90 335i and upgraded them to m3 bushings. It was a nice upgrade but couldn't tell you that it was a great upgrade because of all the other stuff I did at the same time. But this review is about the tool that I used. I had the help of my brother while doing my upgrades and he was begging me not to buy the subframe bushing because in the past when he has been paid to replace them it took him half the day and was not a easy task. I wanted them replaced so he didn't have the choice on it. I found this great tool online was shipped to me in 2 days and worked great. It took me and my brother 30 mins once we lowered the subframe we didn't remove it just lowered it and was still super easy. The minute we got done he called his friend who had helped him in the past with doing this job on other cars about how easy it was. This is what we used.

Yep. I rented this same setup. Worked great. For doing the diff bushings, you have to use a hole-saw (or something smaller) to get front diff bishings out. For the rear diff bushing, that large cup is needed but you have to get a smaller threaded rod to go throught the inside diameter of it. I really like the bearing that the kit has.

Yes but not with this tool.

Yes but not with this tool.

Yep, the tool used is much smaller. You can buy it on eBay for around $50.00. Or make one for $30.00
