Good question. I use an app called Image Size that will reformat pics on your phone to the correct size. That works, but I don’t know if there is an easier way.

I also use Imagie Size to shrink my pics to fit the maximum size requirements.

I email the pics to myself, selecting to compress them when I send. Then re-save the smaller version. Then they are a much more manageable size. However, I cannot add via mobile though, I have to switch to the full browser version to get the photo add icon to work. Not sure why that is.
