Windscreen Washer Mystery!

Hi guys,
I'm having a problem with the jets.i fill the reservoir up and try spray water but nothing, does leak down by drivers wheel.i stripped down the arching under right hand wheel and inspected and nothing wrong, water was leaking where you could not see and dripping under the car, wouldnt be that great with cars so had a look on you tube and the hose connecting the jets under the bonnet I pulled off and spray water and low and behold there's water coming out of it.if you blow into where hose should be it's not blocked unless there's another hose connecting washer jets from under the plastics.any ideas on what this could be?
Thanks so much

What? I understood the first two sentences, but you lost me after that.

Anyway, the small windshield washer pumps are known to crack, leak, and fail. Mine did. Easy and inexpensive fix. I would look closely at the pump attached to the side of the reservoir and see if you see any residue from windshield washer fluid around it. If you do, that is the likely culprit.

You lost me as well I'm afraid but if you haven't been using genuine bmw screenwash they have a tendency to clog up and not spray water. There's a filter and would seem the usual cheap screenwash particles are too big and eventually jams up, happened to me on my old e92 and it popped off the pipe as well. Worth a check? Ps 5l of bmw screenwash is £12.80 inc postage I think and even diluted 3/1 think it still goes down to -16c or similar, at that price for the strength is probably cheaper than the rubbish stuff anyway. I've just been using the bmw stuff for the past 7 years and works great

If you have a leak where you say, one of your headlight washers is leaking.
