On my 2008 328i sedan I just bought there is the stock Harman Becker Bluetooth Handsfree Carkit MULF2-HI unit in the trunk and a BMW Professional Radio in the car but when I press the Menu button the Telephone option does not show up as a choice.

I checked the Fuses, disconnected the cables from the MULF2 for an hour and still no luck. I disconnected the battery for an hour, no fix. I even replaced the MULF2 with another one from eBay and still no luck.

Could it be that it just needs to be coded? The radio, Aux and USB all work fine.

Anyone know somebody near Sarasota FL that does this type of coding?

Anybody have any info on a place that could do coding to fix my Bluetooth for reasonable? I'm in Sarasota so anywhere from Tampa to Ft. Myers would work for me....

I am in Sarasota and use German Cars of Sarasota. Give them a call. All the guys are great. Speak with Rex(owner) Tyler or Lee they should be able to help you. Tell them Mike with the Black E91 recommended them to you, they know me well.

Wanted to let you know I called those guys and they quoted the best price I got in town, but it was still over $100. So I ordered a cable for $20 and I'm going to try coding it myself with NCS, doesn't look too hard...

Cool, well at least you know they can help if you need it. I always will try fixing myself if/when possible to save a few bucks. Good luck

Welcome to town. The most I do is try to catch a few car shows here and there, usually playing in my band on the weekends so don't have any knowledge of any BMW specific events....

A few car shows here and there. The two biggest for Euros is EuroTripper (Fort Meyers) and Fixx Fest in Bradenton. Euro Tripper already happened this past February for 2018, Fixx Fest is in November. Also check out Cars and Coffee in the area. I’ve been to all, and well worth going.

I haven’t been in awhile as my work schedule changes and I’ve been working the second Saturdays past few months. I went over the summer during love bug season and turn out was low. I will be there in November tho, turn out should be great by that time. Suncoast puts on a nice event. Fixxfest is the Saturday after also.

We need a local BMW meet. I'm in Venice but always up in Sarasota. I used to work at Suncoast yes, they do put on good events. They are bigger now since its colder out.
