E92/3 Seat trim query

Help! Could anyone with the above look at the front of their front seats and let me know if there is meant to be a trim piece across as I have open gaps and they look crap. I have SE seats, but wonder if the trim off a M would fit if they have and SE doesn't. Thanks in advance for any answers

if you are talking about the expansion for your thigh support if you don't need it close it up
if you do adjust as necessary, all depends on your height .

Sorry for the late reply, lost my link to the post. What I'm talking about is if you look at the seat base from the front footwell, you can see all the connectors on my car. There is no cover across the area. On my e60 there was. Dealer says there isn't one listed for my car but I'd like to cover it in someway. Another option is would the 1st aid box from an e46 fit there?

Mine doesn't have one, either, and it doesn't look like there is supposed to be one. You are right, though, it does look unfinished.
