A bit strange to race a mid 90's audi to a bmw that was produced from 86 to 91.
The proper line up would imho be against a 321hp eurospec M3 (launched in 95). I bet the outcome would be different

100%. He also touched on that in the vid but I'm guessing he didn't have one available. Kinda pointless race but still love seeing these classics in action.

It's strange that carwow can't seem to get an e36 m3 as they are fairly plentiful in the UK (much less rare than the e30).
In their m3 lineup it was also missing. And that was a pity because I'd like to see how the e36 m3 (the facelift one) specs up to the e46 m3 irl. (ok, in that video they had the csl so thats an easy one)
