Cold start problems

So I've been dealing with this for like a week now and I'm at a crossroad. So my 2010 335i first thing in the morning will start super rough and run lean also has a ses light. It comes up with a misfire when I run the code. So then I cut it off, clear the code and restart it. And after about the 3rd time it starts great, it's almost like it to cold and once it gets warmed up just a bit it starts fine and runs great. I've already changed the plugs and coils and it's still doing it. I just need some ideas on what to try next.

second on that sounds like leaky injector or injectors. Mine did the same till I replaced with index 12's. Pull your plugs to confirm if any are wet and smell like fuel if they do more than likely that's your issue

I'm having some rough cold starts occasionally aswell, plugs and coils replaced among
many other things, injectors are still index 10 though.
In my case i'll get some roughness and light "missfires" that do not throw codes yet
after car sits 6+ hours after driving.

To check plugs for wetness, should i drive / warm car to operating temperature and
pull plugs out how long after?

Thanks

How did the plugs look when you last changed them?

Did any smell of fuel or oil?

When the car started did it smell like Fuel?

If you aren't on index 12 injectors, it may be time to swap those anyway.

Like everyone else has mentioned, plugs coils and injector should be replaced. I was in the same situation with rough starts in the morning and it turned out to be one of my o2 sensors.

Nervous Investment

So I want buy this 07 335i, it's just at 100,001 carfax is clean. Just 2 recall issues. Air bag and blower fan Motor wire. Everyone is saying I shouldn't. Ive read about it through a bunch of threads. It's only going to be driven 4 months outta the year. The previous owners only averaged about 26,000 a year, what should I be looking out for if I "jump" on this sale?

2007 is 12 years old. How did you figure 26.000 per year if car has 100.000? Carfax doesn't give you maintenance info and how it was driven so is impossible for one to tell you what exactly you are getting yourself into. Anyhow, it will be expensive because something will always break, even if you don't drive it at all. I'm not saying you shouldn't buy it, just be ready, be prepared.
